Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.

Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Completes required exams.
• Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.

Qualifications

Education

Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of MRI

Preferred:
Associates degree or Bachelors degree

Experience


Preferred: 1-3 years

Certifications

Required:
ARRT ( R ) and documentation of MRI training and experience; Rad Tech Licensure in Florida; American Heart Association BLS

Full-time variable schedule

Candidates already in the unit receive seniority priority
