    POSITION:
    Occupational Therapist (OTR)


    DESCRIPTION:
    Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate, self-starting, self-motivated Occupational Therapist for the school year. Candidate must be knowledgeable, flexible, and student-centered. Strong communication skills are necessary.

    Candidate must work well on a team and be willing to share ideas and plan collaboratively with other teachers, related staff, and administration.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The qualified individual holds at minimum a Master's Degree in occupational therapy, as well as the appropriate State of Illinois Occupational Therapist License.


    SALARY:
    Regionally Competitive


    DUTIES:

    • Provide direct occupational therapy to students in a school-based environment.
    • Provide consultation to teachers and families regarding fine motor, visual motor, and sensory motor supports and accommodations.
    • Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
    • Participate as a member of the Student Services Team supporting students through targeted intervention within the MTSS, 504, and/or IEP processes.
