    Position Summary:
    Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.

    The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforming x-rays exams, using GE equipment and Phillips C-Arms.
    Utilize ALARA principles.
    Assesses what X-rays are needed before the office visit.
    Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
    Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
    Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
    Producing diagnostic images, reporting vital information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
    Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
    Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions and offering pre-procedure advice.


    Clinical duties:
    Vitals, Bracing, Casting, Suture/Staple Removal, Home Exercise Programs.

    Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:
    Graduate of accredited x-ray technician program.

    Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).Prefer a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a health care facility.


    Hours:
    Monday-Friday 11:30-8:00 pm (Shift differential from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm)
