    As a Residential Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in

    assessing and estimating restoration projects for residential

    properties using Xactimate software.
    Responsibilities

    Evaluate and assess residential properties for damage caused by disasters such as fire, water, or natural disasters.
    Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors to gather project requirements and specifications.
    Utilize Xactimate software to create accurate and detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for restoration projects.
    Review and analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy in estimating costs.
    Prepare and present estimates to clients, explaining the scope of work, timelines, and cost breakdown.
    Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain quotes and pricing for project components.
    Monitor and track project progress, expenses, and changes, and adjust estimates as needed.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations throughout the estimation process.
    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in residential restoration projects.
    Proficiency in Xactimate software for estimating and project management.
    Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
    Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
    Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and contractors.
    Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Understanding of insurance claims processes related to property restoration is a plus.
