RWC is a continuing care retirement community.

We provide care and services for senior citizens living independently and to those who need assistance with daily living activities or full nursing care.

Responsibilities:
Follows prescribed medical regimen as outlined by attending Physician.
Provide assistance in the management of resident care on the unit assigned
Enters chart documentation as well as provides communication within nursing staff
Takes orders for lab work and performs necessary blood work, documents needed information accurately
Provide direct nursing care functions appropriate to License qualifications
Communicates with physicians appropriately, including accepting new orders, preparing for receipts, receiving physician call-backs
Responds to emergencies according to policy

Skills:
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Previous experience as a Staff Nurse or Team Leader.
Leadership and communication skills.
