    Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Front Desk Receptionist.

    The Front Desk Receptionist reports to the Administrator and is responsible for operating the facility switchboard and for greeting visitors.

    Hours: Saturday and Sunday 7am- 3pm

    Requirements

    Duties and responsibilities include:
    • Answers incoming telephone calls with a multi-line phone system and responds or routes calls accordingly.
    • Maintains lists of residents by name and room number, emergency number of on-call personnel, department extensions, etc.
    • Maintain a current list of critical residents or those who may otherwise not receive telephone calls due to their medical condition.
    • Greets visitors and provides direction or information as appropriate.
    • Directs visitors to other campus locations or contacts the proper department to come to the receptionist desk to meet the visitor.
    • Maintains a visitor's log/sign-in register.
    • Operates postage meter and processes postage charges accordingly.
    • Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced healthcare environment
