Job Description

The Data Engineer's main function will be to design and develop systems and processes that help advance Mundial's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working with large data sets, maintaining data pipelines from a variety of streams, and should feel comfortable finding the best analytic solutions to increase scalability and optimize performance.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain batch pipelines for data ingestion and end-to-end data pipeline processes
Build Mundial's data warehouse, including the design, data profiling, testing, ongoing support, and enhancements for business stakeholders
Helps develop Mundial's proprietary Machine Learning systems
Work with CTO to develop workflows and APIs for reporting
Investigate and test the capabilities of new data technologies
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company
Stay current and up to date with advanced technology and best practices
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
2+ years experience working in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Slack
Ability to work and complete projects independently as well as within a team environment
Extremely analytical and detail-oriented
