The Lead Process EngineerWe are seeking an experienced motivated individual with an analytical and hands on approach to provide leadership to the manufacturing engineering staff in our assembly team.
This role will lead our efforts to effectively plan, design and implement assembly processes across the organization.The right individual in this position will drive consistency into our methods of design evaluation, process and equipment requirement generation, process design and evaluation.
Primary Responsibilities:

ExperienceRequiredMinimum of 8 years, working in a Manufacturing Engineering environment with progressive growth in responsibilities, 10+ years preferredHigh level of knowledge using manufacturing process evaluation techniques, PFMEA, tolerance analysis, statistical process analysis, process review, design reviewBroad experience launching finished assemblies to productionSupervision of individuals within an engineering disciplineNew Product/Process Development from concept thru end of lifeAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to interface with all levels of the organization (internally and externally)PreferredWorking knowledge of Statistical Process Analysis and control methodsExperience installing and starting up various assembly processesExperience with MES, PLM and ERP systemsWorking knowledge of GD&T principlesExperience with the assembly of highly cosmetic productEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
