- provide exceptional nutrition care to oncology patients in the outpatient setting;
- serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in weekly rounds, group education classes/support groups, committees and/or community outreach events as needed;
- participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.
- Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in MA
- two or more years of clinical experience, oncology experience strongly preferred;
- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs;
- a history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook; and
- a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
