Description

We are hiring a Material Handler to join our team in Blair, NE. This is a full-time, long-term position working for a large Manufacturing site. This person will work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, must be a self-starter and show initiative. Requirements:

A valid Driver's License is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Computer Skills
Previous experience in inventory management and shipping is preferred.
Proficient in accurately counting and identifying shipments to match manifest contents; minimal technical knowledge required for part identification.
Forklift experience is desirable; training is provided if needed.
Industrial experience is advantageous.
Professional reference preferred

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams, including production, maintenance, and contractors.
Help organize and distribute parts and equipment for projects.
Check pick tickets daily for necessary maintenance materials.
Manage all material handling tasks like receiving, shipping, and kitting.
Organize MRO inventory shelves physically and in SAP for accuracy.
Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Support the MRP process by releasing PRs and suggesting data improvements.
Execute various transactions in SAP including goods handling.
Maintain cleanliness in MRO areas by cleaning shelves and floors regularly.
