    ikon technologies is an industry leader in telematics, providing customized software solutions and innovative hardware on a state-of-the-art platform. Our solutions allow customers to monitor, protect, and optimize their mobile assets throughout the United States.

    Looking for a driven Vice President of Sales with an established network of relationships in the automotive or GPS technology industry. Must have a proven track record of growing and increasing sales. Experience working in a franchise dealership as a General Manager or other role selling to franchise automotive dealers is preferred. This is a new position requiring a highly motivated and organized achiever to establish the sales team, sales process and develop a sales methodology based on Ikon Technologies go-to-market strategy. Reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer of Ikon Technologies.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Promote and present Ikon Technologies to automotive dealerships in your assigned geographic region.
    • Manage and grow existing accounts within your assigned geographic region.
    • Develop sales team structure, hiring staff as sales volume supports additional staff.
    • Develop sales methodology and systems by conducting market analysis, solutions strategy, value proposition, and proposal development.
    • Prospecting and networking within the automotive space to develop new, long-term relationships.
    • Work with Marketing department as well as the company executives to develop marketing campaigns and presentations at industry conferences and trade shows.
    • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for a long-cycle technical sale.
    • CRM - Maintain accurate records of pursuits, contacts, and exchanges for analysis of sales efforts.
    • Attain or exceed sales quotas.
    • Perform other duties assigned.
    • Some local and statewide travel required.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • 7-10 years' experience selling to the in Franchise Automotive Dealer/Technology industry.
    • Previous experience as a General Manager at franchise dealerships preferred.
    • Proven sales record and sales management
    • Exceptional automotive dealership networking and interpersonal skills preferred.
    • Ability to work in a solo and a team mode. Self-starter.
