    The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for assessing and resolving customers' application- and software-related issues, as well as referring requests to other departments as needed.

    Job ResponsibilitiesRespond to inquiries and user problems, document classification of incidents, and diagnose hardware and software.
    Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and close out incidents in the tracking system.
    Detect trends and patterns in incidents and maintenance and provide ad hoc reports.
    Collect information from users to understand and resolve problems remotely or in person.
    Maintain, analyze, and repair hardware and software systems.
    Support and enforce information technology (IT) policies.
    Set up and configure new systems, new applications, and upgrades.
    Manage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groups.
    Set up and troubleshoot domains, user accounts and software accounts.
    Configure, test, and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access for local and remote computers or devices.
    Add or replace memory, new keyboards, motherboards, and other components.
    Format, install, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers with and for end users.
    Coordinate with vendors to resolve problems.
    Participates in the on-call rotation.
    Travel to the local office when necessary to assist with repairs, new hire setups and various tasks.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Job Requirements3+ years experience in a professional environment assisting customers with I.T.

    needs; professional services firm experience preferredAbility to work without direct oversight in a remote capacityAdvanced fundamental computing skills (Windows 11, Microsoft 365)Sufficient maturity & interpersonal skills needed to contend with potentially difficult situations in a professional mannerDesire & aptitude to learn information technology support functions & processes; Information Technology education preferredA+ and/or Network+ certification is a plusAutoCAD and Bentley product knowledge is also a plusBGE is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
