Position Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment, including diesel/gas trucks, commercial mowers, and two-cycle equipment. Candidates with practical experience in these areas are highly encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Perform mechanical work on a variety of assets, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop area
- Ensure consistent upkeep and preservation of fleet vehicles and landscaping equipment
- Accurately document and maintain service and repair records
- Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication
- Assist with other operational tasks as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to supply personal tools as needed for job responsibilities
- Experience with diesel engines and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are preferred but not required

Descripción del Puesto: Actualmente estamos buscando un Mecánico motivado y calificado para unirse a nuestro equipo. Esta persona desempeñará un papel fundamental en el mantenimiento y reparación de una amplia gama de vehículos y equipos de nuestra flota, incluyendo camiones diésel/gasolina, podadoras comerciales y equipos de dos tiempos. Se alienta especialmente a postular a los candidatos con experiencia práctica en estas áreas. Responsabilidades Principales:
- Diagnosticar, solucionar problemas y realizar reparaciones y mantenimiento preventivo en vehículos y equipos de la flota
- Realizar trabajos mecánicos en diversos equipos, incluyendo maquinaria motorizada, podadoras, camiones, remolques y otras herramientas de jardinería
- Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, organizado y seguro en el área del taller
- Asegurar el mantenimiento continuo y conservación de los vehículos de la flota y equipos de jardinería
- Documentar y mantener con precisión los registros de servicio y reparación
- Brindar un servicio excepcional al cliente interno, priorizando la eficiencia, calidad y comunicación
- Apoyar en otras tareas operativas asignadas
- Mínimo 1 año de experiencia práctica en trabajos mecánicos
- Gran aptitud mecánica, especialmente con vehículos a gasolina/diésel y equipos de jardinería
- Actitud positiva y deseo de aprender y crecer dentro de la organización
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y organización
- Alta atención al detalle y compromiso con la seguridad y la calidad
- Capacidad para proporcionar herramientas personales necesarias para el trabajo
- Se prefiere experiencia con motores diésel y habilidad bilingüe (inglés/español), pero no es obligatorio
