Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our Special Service Providers team for the 2025-2026 school year.

About the Position:

• Provide services for school-aged children with communication disorders that adversely affect children's educational performance.
• Work at various school buildings as assigned.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the districts to which assigned.
• Participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide services for children with difficulties in the areas of language, voice, fluency, and articulation.
• Provide screenings for students with possible speech and language deficits impacting their access to the general curriculum.
• Assess children referred for Special Education evaluation.
• Complete written evaluations with specific goals and objectives for each student identified with speech/language needs.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students identified with speech/language needs.
• Program planning and implementation.
• Collaborate with teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Communicate with parents regarding their children's speech/language program.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants, Graduate students and Clinical Fellowships, as assigned
• Implement services based on the MTSS model.
• Provide education, assistance and monitoring of augmentative communication devices.
• Collect data on students' progress.
• Able to work with students at various grade levels; may need to travel to other schools if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Special Service Provider's Colorado Licensure through the Colorado Department of Education
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with administrators, teachers, students and families, and community members.
• Ability to conduct studies, prepare reports and make oral presentations.
• Computer knowledge is required in computer-related subjects, and computer literacy is preferred for other content areas.
• Ability to maintain individual student records and class files.
• Ability to compile statistics for research and reports.
• Ability to discipline students in keeping with school and district procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence recommended
