    Overview The Army's Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence National capabilities and architectures
    Army TENCAP conducts advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities
    Army Product Manager TENCAP responsibilities include support to Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) to maintain connections to national and theater systems; prototype development and transition of technology into Army systems; and acquisition of equipment as directed by the TENCAP General Officer Steering Group (TGOSG) and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) (ASA(ALT))
    Responsibilities


    • Provide management, administrative, and technical interface with the Government Contract Officer Representative (COR) in all matters that affect the accomplishment of services under the contract.
    • Utilize applicable Federal, DoD, and Army publications and guidance to assist the customer with the execution of its mission.
    • Apply and improve Army TENCAP systems engineering processes to leverage National and Theater Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for Army purposes.
    • Apply and improve Army TENCAP processes for technology, discovery, evaluation, development and transition capabilities to other Army programs of record.
    • Provide technical, logistics, and program management services to systems providing Theater and National ISR capability.
    • Provide technical, acquisition, logistics, and program management services for Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) efforts.
    • Coordinate, prepare, and conduct In Progress Reviews (IPR).
    • Prepare and submit required deliverables that include presentation material, progress, status, and management report, scientific and technical reports, test and evaluation documentation, and quality control plan
    Required Experience/Qualifications

    Education:
    Master's Degree - 12 years' work experience may be substituted for a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus 8 years work

    • Experience: Minimum of fifteen years of project management experience working on DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) programs/projects.
    • Experience: Minimum of eight years' experience in the DoD or IC in an acquisition project management position leading integrated teams consisting of engineers, analysts, financial, and project management personnel.
    • Certifications: DAU Level III certification in Program Management, or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    Preferred Experience/Qualifications


    • Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
    • Has TENCAP experience
    Special Requirements/Security Clearance

    Security Clearance:
    Top Secret with Secret Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.

    • By Light does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; vaccination requirements and testing are subject to the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements; testing is at the cost of the employee.
