    Description

    Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Needed at a School District in California

    Are you a qualified Speech Language Pathologist looking for a remote role without the stress of a traditional clinical environment? We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist to join a School District in California for a fully virtual position. Learn more about this exciting teletherapy opportunity below:

    Job Description:

    • Full-Time Position (Also Open to Part-Time Candidates)
    • Monday - Friday Schedule
    • Location: California
    • Caseload Details: K - 12th Grade, Initial Evaluations
    • Additional Details Provided During Interview

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Conduct virtual evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
    • Create personalized treatment plans for students with communication disorders to align with academic and social goals.
    • Implement tailored intervention strategies to enhance students' communication skills and interaction abilities.
    • Use various resources, including AAC systems, to improve communication for students with language disorders.
    • Track student progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal speech and language development.
    • Attend team meetings to contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in need of speech-language services.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Master's or Doctorate Degree
    • ASHA CCC Certification Required
    • Active Speech Language Pathology License in California
    • 2 Years of School-based Experience
    • 2 Years of Teletherapy Experience (preferred)

    This position is with VocoVision and ProCare Therapy as a contracted 1099 Independent Contractor. What does this mean for you?

    • No benefits included
    • You'll need to obtain your own Liability Insurance
    • You'll undergo a Technology Test to ensure you're equipped for the role
