    Job Summary

    This position performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment and taking into account an individual patient's special or age-related needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
    • Troubleshoot issues with MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning.
    • Care for patients before, during, and after the examination, including positioning, preparing them for the exam, and providing emotional support as needed.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make recommendations for further testing or treatment.
    • Maintain accurate records of patient information, examination results, and any complications that may arise during the procedure.

    Requirements:

    • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
    • Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
