Job Description: As a Registered Nurse on the 5th floor at Intermountain Health, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing orthopedic, urology, and general surgery procedures. The floor is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Skillset:

• Assess and address patients' physical and psychological needs
• Foster quality care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
• Communicate effectively with compassion and empathy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
• Oversee care delivered by licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
• Participate in clinical team conferences
• Follow hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program required within four years unless 15 years of acute care experience
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within nine months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification in area of practice
