    Responsibilities

    Tasks include organizing daily activities for children enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten Program and Summer Camp, ensuring activities align with children's needs, and overseeing staff collaboration.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interacts positively with children consistently.
    • Plans, implements, and assesses daily activities for Pre-Kindergarten and Summer Camp.
    • Creates a nurturing environment to support positive growth.
    • Supervises and guides Summer Camp and Pre-Kindergarten staff.
    • Maintains accurate records and ensures child safety.
    • Engages in continuous professional development.
    • Handles all situations professionally.

    Qualifications

    KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

    • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree and be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a teaching certification program.
    • Two years of teaching experience in an Early Childhood environment.
    • Demonstrated understanding of child development, appropriate preschool/school age activities, and relevant care guidelines.
    • Energetic individual with a passion for working with children.
    • One year of prior supervisory experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

      • KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

    • Master's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or similar field.
    • Current Teaching Certificate for Pre-K through 5th grade or Pre-K through 8th grade.
    • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and other GA state health and safety standards.

      • LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION MANDATORY ACCORDING TO GEORGIA REGULATIONS

    • Teaching Certificate (P-5 or P-8) issued by the Professional Standards Commission

      • Work Hours:

      7 AM - 4 PM
