    Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Experienced Flatbed Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Corona, CA

    • Driver Positions Pay Weekly
    • Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour
    Hours Per Week: 50 + hours per week

    • Sign on Bonus: Pays you $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days
    • Paid Training
    • Schedule: Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
    Start Time: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM

    • Minimum 1 Year Flatbed Experience AND 1 Year Minimum Moffett/Forklift Experience
    • No Automatic Restriction
    • Deliver SOLO To: Southern CA
    • Route: Home Daily
    • Tractor Type: Day Cab
    • Trailer Type: Single Axel Flatbed 35' and 45' and Bobtail 36'
    • Equipment: Moffitt
    • Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
    • Freight: Touch - Windows and Doors - Unloading/Strapping (Tarping in wet weather)


    Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

    The starting salary for this position is $72,800. Employees may also be eligible for a Shift Differential

    Requirements


    • Minimum 21 years of age
    • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
    • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
    • Pass a DOT physical
    • Pass a Ryder road test
    • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
    • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
    • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
    • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

    Important Note:
    Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

    Responsibilities


    • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
    • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
    • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
    • Performs other duties as assigned
