    Senior Systems Test Enginee r to join the

    Data, Power & Control Team

    in

    Somerset, NJ .

    We are looking for a System Test Engineer/Quality Assurance Engineer with 5+ years of experience in testing complex software systems on proprietary hardware and off-the-shelf hardware.

    The products provide Remote Access capabilities within the Data Center environment, Broadcast Environment, and Lab environment.

    What Will You Do?
    Design and document test cases for Remote Access Products
    Executing test cases and tracking results in a Test Management Tool
    Creating defect reports in the defect tracking system and tracking them to resolution
    Install Operating Systems and 3rd party software tools on computers
    Collaborating with Software Developers, Test Engineers, Hardware Developers, and customers on feature requirements
    Reporting results to Management
    Reproduce customer-reported issues and help with root cause analysis and the solution
    Testing the performance of the product
    Develop scripting solutions to aid with testing
    Supplying input and reviewing customer-facing documentation
    Creating environments in the lab for testing products


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelors Degree or higher degree required in a technical discipline. Prefer Computer Science or Electrical Engineering


    Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in a System Test/ Quality Assurance role


    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    Must be effective in a multi-tasking environment, team environment, and cross-team environment
    Hands-on experience with testing software on new custom hardware
    Ability to create test cases from technical documentation
    Ability to analyze a complex problem and document it clearly
    Experience working with Agile Development methodologies
    Experience with Blackbox and Whitebox testing methodologies
    Experience with Web Application testing
    Familiar with IP related technologies (IPV4, IPV6, TLS, Certificates, SNMP)
    Familiar with the following technologies (DNS, LDAP, AD, Radius, Syslog)
    Familiar with programming in scripting technologies, preferably Python
