Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in the Emergency Department, which sees a high volume of patient visits, including serious trauma and stroke cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Utilize advanced monitoring and medical equipment effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS (ENPC within 90 days of hire).
• Strong teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time feedback to peers.
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department as needed.
