- Operates power tools including, but not limited to, routers, flame torches, power drills, band saws, and drill presses.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shift Supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Keeps a record of finished parts and is responsible for moving finished parts to the correct locations.
- Safely works at a pace that meets company expectations e.g., parts per hour or minutes per part as quoted to customer specifications.
- Accepts and receives frequent supervision and assistance regarding the completion of finished parts.
- Works as a team with fellow team members to complete production goals.
- Able to perform critical thinking and complex problem solving
- Able to work independently, be a self-starter, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and able to retain and follow work instructions
- Able to work through difficult and complex situations without becoming frustrated

Why You Should Redline:
Perks of Redline:
The primary result expected from the Advanced Secondary position is to transform the roto-molded plastics parts into finished goods as designated under the direction of operations leadership and by following work instructions. The Advanced Secondary position will be responsible for operating power tools to ensure that the finished part meets customer and quality standards.

The Advanced Secondary position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. COMPETENCIES:
PREFERRED AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED is preferred
Experience and/or Training: Prior rotational molding experience preferred
Licenses/Certificates: No requirements
Technology/Equipment: Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The main working environment for this position is the standard manufacturing plant environment.
The plant environment is climate controlled in some areas, however, will include exposure to heat and hot surfaces, cold, noise and odors. Personal protective equipment is required in appropriate areas. There may also be intermittent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts and tool vibration.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual would encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.
