    The Opportunity

    We are seeking a Market Research Senior Analyst to gather and analyze market data, maintain assigned databases, and prepare presentations.

    The position requires leading customized ad-hoc projects per clients' requirements, completing customized data modeling, and providing in-depth analysis addressing specific questions from clients.

    The Senior Analyst will interact with clients and other companies to gather data, respond to customer inquiries, and communicate updated content.

    This role is part of our Wireless Smartphone Strategies (WSS) team focused on the smartphone industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Research company activity, market drivers, and technology developments around the smartphone and mobile device industry and ecosystem.
    • Analyze hardware, software, supply side, and demand side across the entire industry and ecosystem/value chain.
    • Conduct primary and secondary research and consolidate data from multiple sources.
    • Lead and conduct customized ad-hoc projects per clients' requirements.
    • Research, write, and publish reports on smartphone market trends on a timely basis.
    • Prioritize and respond to customer requests.
    • Support global/ regional and country-level forecasts and analysis by providing detailed insight into market trends.
    • Collaborate with other analysts and IT to effectively manage and communicate results to customers.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 4-7 years of experience with project management and implementation skills.
    • Strong quantitative, logic, qualitative research skills.
    • Ability to analyze financial statements of public companies.
    • Expertise in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Polished written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to write short-form research and blogs (in English).
