RN CVICU FT Days Position Summary
Deliver professional nursing care within a designated unit, collaborating on care plans with other disciplines. Provide individualized bedside nursing care based on patient needs and the nursing process. Take on a supervisory role, overseeing healthcare staff in delivering quality patient care, and continually evaluating nursing practice for optimal patient outcomes. Engage in hourly rounding and uphold safety standards.
Special Skills:
THE RN CVICU FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Level II EQ Only: Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year of acute care experience preferred, certification in a specialty area of practice a plus
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Nurse license in Arizona, CPR, ACLS as required by facility/department
Various certifications required based on department:
- ACLS for ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D
- PALS/ENPC for ER within ninety days
- ACLS for PACU within six months, PALS preferred
- NRP for Post-partum, Nursery, L&D
- Certification/training in specialty for Bariatrics and Wound Care
REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: Advanced Fetal Monitoring for L&D within six months of hire
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: ACLS for OR
