Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Loveland, CO

Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring that instructional goals are tailored to meet their unique needs.
Provide direct instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills, adapting teaching strategies and materials to accommodate students' learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general education teachers, therapists, and parents, to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and services.
Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions and modifications to the curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Colorado State Teaching License with Special Education endorsement.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.

State Licensure Requirements:
Applicants must possess a current and valid Colorado State Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
