- Reviews, interprets, and verifies physician orders.
- Evaluate the appropriateness of drug selection.
- Evaluate for order completeness.
- Performs pharmacokinetic dosing
- Identifies, prevents, and resolves potential or actual drug-related problems.
- Review medication orders for the fulfillment of medication-related quality measures and antibiotic stewardship guidelines
- Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to manage drug therapy
- Provides patient, clinical staff, and physician education.
