Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor clients' health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings, providing transportation assistance when necessary
Skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions accurately
- Experience working with diverse populations, including elderly or individuals with special needs
- Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques and emergency response procedures
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), clinics, or post-acute care environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical-surgical care, geriatrics, inpatient/outpatient services, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room) experience, or teaching hospital environments is a plus
