    Firm Advice has a great opportunity with a global, publicly traded company that is on the cutting edge of technology. We are seeking an experienced export control and compliance professional who enjoys working in a rapidly growing industry. As Export Compliance Director, you will interface with multiple departments to set and manage the export strategy and processes for the entire company, including setting objectives and implementing industry best practices.

    Hybrid position

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred; advanced degree a plus.
    • 15 plus years of export experience in defense, satellite, telecommunications, or technology, preferred.
    • Expert in some or all of the following: ITAR, EAR, EDCCS D-Trade, and SNAP-R.
    • Experience redlining contracts regarding exports to maintain adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
    • Experience with U.S. Munitions List and Export Control Classification Number classification and licensing.
    • U.S. Department of Defense security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one a plus.
    • Strong familiarity with tools, processes and software applications that support federal government export and contracting activities, particularly AES.
