    The NewPath

    Nurse Manager

    is responsible for directing, organizing, and supervising the work of the Nursing staff.

    The Nurse Manager coordinates nursing efforts to ensure effective patient care is being provided and that quality standards are met across all medical services and programs.

    The Nurse Manager primarily works with our Residential Treatment Program, Day Treatment Program, and Medication Management Clinic.


    Location:
    This position will work primarily at our East Campus with some rotation between our West and Butler County campuses.

    What You Will Be Doing

    Ensure 24/7 on call coverage for psychiatric and medical emergencies.

    Coordinate Psychiatric Services for the med/som clinic in conjunction with medical leadership team.


    Assist Director of Central Services, Senior Directors, and Chief Medical Officer in developing policies and procedures for the operation and evaluation of the functioning of the med/som clinic and the services it provides to agency programs.

    Maintains oversight of medical policies for compliance with standards and the law. Consults on clinical, safety and risk policies as requested.

    Assists with the review of agency medication formularies.


    Ensures that agency Ohio State Board of Pharmacy terminal distribution licenses are up to date and appropriately posted in coordination with the Director of Central Services.

    Coordinates development of CQI indicators for psychiatric services with the QI department, nursing staff and affected Clinical Program directors.

    Manages the schedule of the residential nursing team and provides coverage when needed.

    What You Bring To The Table

    Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); licensing as a Registered Nurse and 5 years' experience.

    Preferred qualifications include Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN); licensing as a Registered Nurse and 8 years' experience.

    Have a valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance.

    Management and related nursing supervisory experience.

    Experience working with an interdisciplinary treatment team.

    Computer skills commensurate with the needs of the position

    A working knowledge of ODMH and CARF licensing standards around the medical service preferred.

    Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.

    Must demonstrate exceptional skills in documentation, professional writing, and verbal communication.

    Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
