We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver with knowledge of heavy equipment to join a growing heavy equipment rental team. This position is responsible for safely transporting equipment to and from customer job sites while ensuring proper loading, securement, and basic operational knowledge of machinery.

The ideal candidate has experience hauling construction equipment and understands proper tie-down procedures, weight distribution, and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites
  

• Load and unload equipment using ramps and proper securement methods
  

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  

• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
  

• Communicate delivery schedules and job site details with dispatch and customers
  

• Inspect equipment upon pickup and delivery for damage
  

• Assist with yard organization when not on delivery runs
  

• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
  
  
• Clean driving record
  
  
• Experience hauling heavy equipment REQUIRED
  
  
• Knowledge of load securement and DOT regulations
  
  
• Ability to operate heavy equipment 
  
  
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
  
  
• Strong attention to safety and detail
