**Description**

**Responsibilities (summary):** The carbon material handler will be responsible for the transportation, organization, preparation, and staging of materials used in the carbon block manufacturing facility. Additionally, the carbon material handler helps monitor equipment to ensure minimal downtime due to lack of materials or space.

**Specific Job Function:**

Load and unload specific material on machinery.

Forklift and pallet jack operation.

Organize and move pallets to designated areas as assigned.

Keep workstations properly stocked with materials and supplies.

Assist with material inventory and cycle counts.

General maintenance and cleaning related tasks.

Perform inventory transactions via scanner.

Other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge of inventory systems and processes preferred.

Forklift Certification and experience required.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand, kneel, sit, and climb stairs. Most duties performed standing.

Steel toe shoes and safety glasses required.

Ability to work overtime, as assigned. (Includes Saturday)
