    St. Anne's-Belfield School seeks a full-time lead teacher of a Grades K - 4 homeroom class. A homeroom teacher in Grades K - 4 is responsible for morning meetings in the philosophy of Responsive Classroom and homeroom instruction including guided reading and word study, writing workshop, social studies, and Singapore math instruction. The ideal candidate is a relational educator who seeks to stimulate deep critical thinking and creativity and promote agency. We seek a growth-minded educator who thrives in a collaborative approach to curriculum design, instruction and pedagogy and has both interest in and experience with student-initiated and standards-based learning and assessment. St. Anne's-Belfield affirms the enduring value of educating the whole child.
