JOB SUMMARY
The Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is in charge of overseeing nursing and unit-based personnel. The role includes ensuring a safe and caring environment for patients, family, and staff, promoting professional nursing practice, teamwork, and collaboration for positive outcomes.
The Supervisor manages daily operations, assists in planning, developing, and monitoring policies and procedures, budgets, resources allocation, quality improvement initiatives, educational programs, and governance councils to achieve departmental goals.
This position is ideal for nursing supervisors in hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24/7 staffing, including those with on-call staffing during off shifts.
