- Perform plant maintenance within company policies and procedures
- Perform maintenance tasks for support equipment including Forklifts, Air Handling, Nitrogen System, Doors, Sprinkler System, air compressors, security system etc.
- Remain flexible to support production equipment and maintenance when needed
- Strong knowledge in packaging and powder processing is a plus
- An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance is a plus
- Strong analytical and people skills are necessary in this position
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Frequently required to climb ladders and/or stairs
- Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, and/or controls
- Frequently required to talk and/or listen to maintain communications. Use of hand-held radio when necessary
- Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- Frequently lift and/or move 10-35lbs, occasionally lift and/or move 50lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
