    Congregation B'nai Amoona is a conservative synagogue in West County.

    B'nai Amoona aims to enhance and enrich what already exists by creating a vibrant and progressive Jewish atmosphere focusing on prayer, spirituality, learning, inspiration, inclusion, celebration, warmth, friendliness, comfort, Israel, support, and relevance.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Director for our preschool, the Linda Rotskoff ECC (LRECC).

    The Director will oversee all aspects of our Reggio based program, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for all young learners.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of children.


    Responsibilities :

    Program Development and Implementation:


    Develop and implement a comprehensive preschool curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.

    Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.

    Regularly review and update curriculum materials and teaching methodologies to reflect best practices in early childhood education.


    Staff Management and Development:
    Recruit, hire, and train qualified teachers and support staff.

    Provide ongoing support, supervision, and professional development opportunities for staff members.

    Foster a collaborative and positive work culture that values teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.


    Parent and Community Engagement:


    Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress, upcoming events, and program updates.

    Organize parent workshops, events, and volunteer opportunities to foster strong partnerships between the school and families.

    Represent the preschool in the local community, building relationships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders.


    Administrative Management:
    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including budget management, enrollment, scheduling, and facility maintenance.

    Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.


    Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

    Knowledge of child development theories, early childhood education principles, and best practices, with knowledge of Reggio philosophy preferred.

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.


    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and community members.

    Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
