    Houseparent Career Opportunity

    Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This unique and life-changing career requires a high level of commitment to student success from both spouses.

    Couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home.

    • Providing daily supervision and mentorship
    • Managing household routines and student schedules
    • Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
    Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, social development so they can reach their full potential.

    This position involves working nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. On weekdays houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Upon hire flex house parents initially support various student homes before transitioning into Placed Houseparent roles where they live work with same group of students own home.
    Paid time off provided at designated times throughout year includes relocation assistance paid training free housing meals utilities more providing comprehensive benefits including medical dental vision insurance retirement savings among others.
