    DCCCA is recruiting for Peer Support Specialists (also known in the industry as Recovery Coaches and Peer Mentors). Peer Support Specialists serve an integral role in clients' substance use disorder recovery.

    We are looking for candidates with at least two years of demonstrated personal recovery experience. Successful candidates are compassionate, are self-motivated, gauge risk, and can establish positive working relationships with community partners.     *Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of demonstrated personal substance use recovery experience, required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Class C driver's license, clear driving record, reliable personal transportation, and current automobile insurance. Approval by DCCCA's auto insurance provider to drive company and personal vehicles on DCCCA business.
