    Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN)

    CTTX Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a PACU nurse, you will play a crucial role in the post-operative care and recovery of patients.

    Requirements

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assess and monitor the physiological and psychological status of patients recovering from anesthesia.
    • Manage post-operative pain and administer medications as prescribed.
    • Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and level of consciousness.
    • Ensure proper airway management and respiratory support.
    • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement a comprehensive post-operative care plan.
    • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their recovery and post-operative instructions.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Job Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of post-operative care, pain management, and wound healing.
