    Description
    • Monday-Friday 6am-6pm (12 hour shifts)
    • TEMP TO HIRE
    • Routine Production Tasks
    • Loading and unloading coils and reels.
    • Making splices to connect one reel to the next and connect breaks in incoming reels.
    • Maintaining proper operating levels in tanks.
    • Maintaining part/contact rinses.
    • Rectifier adjustments.
    • Maintaining anode baskets (keeping them full).
    • General monitoring of production line, reporting any findings to supervision or maintenance. Examples of items to look for:
    • Equipment failures (rectifiers/pumps/drives)
    • Leaks
    • Bath temperatures
    • Completing production checklist ,12)
    • Completing the daily production record , where basic information regarding reel number, quantities, etc. is recorded. See referenced form for additional detail.
    • Proper recording and handling of scrap material.
    • Proper coils strapping and coil loading.
    • Preventive Maintenance
    • Performs preventive maintenance (PM) functions as outlined on applicable PM forms.
    • Performs PM functions in an efficient manner, especially performing tasks when the line is running as applicable.
    • Changing cleaners and acids and rinses.
    • Contact inspection and replacement.
    • Setup or Changeover
    • Installs and/or removes tooling as required to change line setup from one part to the next.
    • The Production Operator should make every effort to perform any tasks in advance (while the line is still running). This would include tasks such as locating tooling and moving it to the production line, as near as possible to the place where it will be used.
    • Runs pre-production samples in order to confirm conformance of the product with customer specifications prior to start-up of line.
    • Installing chemistries.
    • Uses time, as it is available, to perform ancillary tasks such as:
    • Preparing anodes for wheel units in advance.
    • Assembling mechanical wipes in advance.
    • Sweeping and mopping floors.
    • Troubleshoot basic problems
    • Troubleshoot advanced problems.
    • Selection and use of proper safety equipment
