- Lead a team of talented Software Engineers to build features to delight customers.
- Work with engineers in developing technical designs and blueprints.
- Own, oversee and drive improvements to software development life cycle and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with Product Management to design products & features.
- Engage with Customers to understand their needs, delights and frustrations.
- Ensure a high operational standard to meet Twilio's SLOs and Customers expectations
- Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to foster professional and personal growth.
- Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new engineering team members.

Required:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering building highly available enterprise applications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience leading, managing and developing software engineering teams
- Experience building distributed systems deployed onto cloud environments
- Ability to manage software development projects through their full lifecycle
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience ensuring operational excellence and systems reliability.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
Desired: - Experience building machine learning powered software and with MLOps
- Knowledge of telecommunications
LocationThis role will be remote in the USA, but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

- The estimated pay range for this role, is $162, $270,000.00
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
