    Job Description for Enterprise Architect at Western Digital Capital

    The successful candidate will lead the strategy, planning, and design of an end-state blueprint for CRM + ERP system architecture.

    Key responsibilities include identifying areas to retire technical debt, modernizing the technical stack, integrating more scalably, and improving capability more quickly.

    The individual will guide teams on simplifying their landscape, reducing complexity and total cost of ownership, and increasing agility to meet/exceed business and financial goals.

    Serving as a primary escalation point for enterprise architecture, the candidate will provide expert advice and solutions to complex issues.

    Responsibilities also include guiding teams in translating new business strategies into integrated, end-to-end technology solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.

    They should have 15+ years of experience simplifying CRM + ERP + boundary system landscapes, preferably with Salesforce and Oracle Cloud ERP experience.

    Ongoing experience with end-to-end business processes is essential, spanning engage market & customer, lead-to-order, order-to-cash, offer-to-plan, plan-to-fulfill, record-to-report, source-to-pay, and contact-to-resolution.

    The candidate must have demonstrated ability in strategic planning, governance, and change management within complex ERP landscapes.

    A proven track record of managing large-scale ERP migration projects is required.

    The successful candidate will possess the ability to navigate uncertainty, drive outcomes in fluid situations.

    Demonstrated ability in information security, data management, and regulatory compliance is also necessary.

    Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications, on-premises, and knowledge of middleware, EDI, OIC, SOA, API, and the pros/cons between them is highly desirable.
