Primary Care Physician
Compensation: $220K-$245K per year
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our client's healthcare team in Staten Island, NY. In this role, you will provide and oversee comprehensive patient care at a Diagnostic and Treatment Center, working alongside the Chief Medical Officer and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality community health services.
Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership: Serve as the primary provider, conducting patient assessments and treatments in both clinical and home settings while overseeing clinical decision-making.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to manage patient care, participate in case conferences, and lead care planning.
Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance care quality, optimize resource utilization, and promote preventive health measures, including screenings and immunizations.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with local specialists and community providers to expand patient care options and support public health initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance: Provide training and clinical guidance to staff, participate in quality assurance activities, and ensure adherence to medical standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatric Medicine expertise preferred).
Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license required.
Experience: Background in primary care or geriatric medicine with a commitment to patient-centered care.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and clinical excellence.
