An insurance employer is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join their team in Hartford.

This is open because the company needs additional support on the Digital Delivery project which is centered around streamlining processes around integrating this company's systems with their clients' systems to make further enhancements into the digital space.

The IT Business analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating documentation for API's, handle process mapping, and write user stories.

They will utilize Azure DevOps to create a template of the integration process that they will be able to utilize on later replications.

This resource will need to understand XML and SQL, and be able to write basic queries.

This is a growing area of the company's business and the plan is to continue expanding this digital delivery effort to additional customers and product lines.

The ideal individual will be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, and have high attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst

Ability to create documentation for API and API integrations

Expertise with XML and SQL, ability to write basic queries

Experience using a documentation tool such as Azure DevOps or related tool

Detail oriented
