    Description

    The Clinical Case Coordinator (CCC) is a specialized case coordinator position requiring training and experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA). The CCC is a member of the Clinical team and works under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Director or designated BCBA. The essential functions and primary duties of the CCC serve to increase behavioral program integrity. The CCC assists the BCBA's in providing behavioral support to students at the school, residences, and in the community. The CCC may assist with behavioral assessment, material development, behavioral program development and implementation, training, and program monitoring. When staffing demands require it, the CCC will be assigned to a classroom or residence to provide direct support and instruction to assigned students.

    Primary Duties Include, but not limited to:

    • Fulfills the duties of a Case Coordinator as needed (including in ratio with assigned students)
    • Accurately completes all required documentation for the individuals assigned (e.g., data collection, observation notes, incident reports, and family contacts).
    • Acts as an advocate for all assigned students ensuring their dignity and respect.
    • Implements student behavior support plans at school or on campus, in transit, or in community locations.
    • Assists with crisis intervention as needed throughout the school.
    • Reports any problems or concerns to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
    • Serves as a role model for staff in all areas of service delivery and professional practices.
    • Ensures that work locations are kept clean, organized and safe.
    • Assists with inventory and maintenance of student programming needs, including work materials and reinforcers.
    • Enters data and makes graphs as directed.
    • Assists with behavioral assessment, including preference assessments.
    • Alerts BCBA to any unusual behaviors, intensities, frequencies, antecedents or consequences
    • Assists with program development and implementation, including program integrity checks.
    • Assists with staff training, including behavior feedback tools.
    • Assists with program and student progress monitoring.
    • Under BCBA oversight runs group activities for students toward increasing social, play and communityskills.
    • Communicates with appropriate BCBA to troubleshoot or modify behavior programming to meet the needs of the student across settings.
    • Stays abreast of current ABA practice and research.
    • Serves as ambassador for ABA with direct care staff, providing rationale and modeling of effective behavioral intervention.
    • Works ethically and with integrity while following the BACB ethical code.
    • Attends all applicable team meetings and attends all agency required trainings.
    • Works as an active and constructive team member in all duties.
    • Maintains good communication skills (oral and written) with co-workers, administrative staff, individuals, families and case workers.
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. At least Bachelor's degree required.

    2. At least one year experience with ABA required

    3. At least two years of experience in providing services to individuals with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities required

    4. Working toward BCBA and/or current RBT required

    5. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.

    6. Maturity, good judgment and ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others

    7. Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and ability to drive agency vehicles.

    8. Certified in CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care or the willingness and ability to do so.
