The position of Cook Helper-Graham Dining Hall involves assisting cooks in food preparation and serving lines. Responsibilities include pan variety of simple meats, preparing simple casseroles, convenience foods, opening cans frozen foods assist on serving lines as needed slice deli meat take food to serving lines replenish as needed store date food items fill out appropriate paper work for computerized Food Service production system CSI service records food production sheets proper storage of food items cold vs hot raw vs cooked grill hamburgers cheese sandwiches etc observe safety health regulations maintain highest standards of sanitation lifting between 15-30 lbs bending stooping work dust fumes solvents daily basis operate variety equipment including slicer steam jacketed kettle buffalo chopper ovens tilt brazier deep fat fryer charcoal broiler wok waffle iron cleaning all kitchen equipment hood grills slicers etc
