- Reviews provider orders for correct drug choice, dosage form, dosing schedule, and possible drug-drug interactions or allergies.- Dispenses and compounds medications and dispenses drug therapy-related devices in accordance with standards of practice.
- Manages individuals' drug therapy by initiating, monitoring, and modifying prescriptions issued to patients in collaboration with a provider.
