    JOB SUMMARY
    The Logistics Coordinator position is part of the Operations Team and will work under direct supervision of Business Manager.

    This position serves as the dispatcher and coordinator of equipment and personnel to the field to ensure the highest level of quality service to employees, vendors and clients.

    The Logistics Coordinator must be familiar with, adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health & safety protocols, and all applicable local, state and federal regulations.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary Responsibilities include:
    Serve as the primary driver of the Resource Center logistics coordination by maintaining a master schedule of personnel and equipment utilization and making deployment decisions daily including ensuring daily equipment tracking and utilization
    Responsible for prioritizing client projects and associated tasks by minimizing subcontracting costs with effective utilization of resources
    Responsible for scheduling of new orders as well as adapting to changes on preexisting projects on an ongoing basis
    Remain in active contact with field personnel throughout the day to assure clients' expectations are exceeded
    Follow up with vendors and service providers throughout project execution and close-out
    Perform related duties as needed to support an effective and smooth operation in the field
    Provide guidance and support to field employees by effectively communicating and enforcing company policies and procedures
    Maintain up to date knowledge on all applicable local, state and federal regulations


    Secondary Responsibilities Include:
    Communicate and coordinate incoming loads with Yard supervisor
    Maintain current Standard Operating Procedures for job sites
    Prepare and distribute work orders and manifests to appropriate staff
    Participate in daily safety huddles
    Coordinate the onboarding of drivers and field staff
    Coordinate driver credentialing
    Approve payroll weekly
    Review, approve and coordinate requests for time off for drivers and field staff
    Coordinate driver and field staff physicals
    Ensure drivers and field staff are current on their required training
    Ensure the fleet is operating in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations
    Coordinate equipment rentals
    Coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs with maintenance department
    Complete annual performance review of drivers and field staff
    Other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS
    High School Diploma or GED (equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills); Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
    At least (4) years of environmental industry work experience with a minimum of (1) year at the Supervisor level preferred
    Strong communication (both written and verbal), analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients, employees and management
    Must be multi-task oriented and have strong supervisory, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
    General working knowledge of OSHA 1910, 1915 and 1926 standards, DOT standards and other applicable federal, state and local standards
    General understanding of equipment capabilities and requirements of different types of jobs

    Ability to work in a wide range of environments including those involving hazardous conditions which may require lifting of exerting force exceeding 50 lbs.

    Must have appropriate licenses, in good standing and meet applicable MER and DOT driving requirements to operate company vehicles and equipment (documentation is required)
    Ability to work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary
    Ability to travel overnight as required by business needs

    Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance abuse screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well as continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
