    INCENTIVE BONUS OF $4,000 FOR FULL-TIME CNA/Van Driver Role

    Our starting CNA/Van Driver pay is $20.85 per hour plus applicable shift bonuses. Check us out

    Do you have experience providing residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's care plan, policies, procedures and as directed by supervision? Additional duties for this role include transporting residents in company vehicle which requires a State of Michigan Chauffeur's License with a good driving record.

    Provides residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's care plan, policies, procedures and as directed by supervision. Transports residents in company vehicle as required.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist and document residents in all activities of daily living as needed for each individual resident assigned, ., vital signs, weight, feeding, oral intake, bathing, grooming, mobility, toileting.
  • Conduct shift rounds to observe residents and to ensure nursing and restorative needs are being met. Communicate resident care needs to the Charge Nurse and oncoming shift partners. Report all changes in residents' condition to the charge nurse as soon as possible.
  • Assist with providing resident centered care initiatives, . the fine dining experience.
  • Safely lift and transfer residents using proper lift equipment and safety devices. Transport residents to and from in-house activities.
  • Answer resident 'call lights' promptly and courteously.
  • Assist assigned staff in resident admission, transfer and discharge functions.
  • May be required to assist and complete the restorative activities based on the restorative plan of care.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties in residents' rooms, . clean spills, and make beds, secure residents' personal items.
  • Assist with scheduling residents' outside appointments and other activities. Coordinate outing schedules with management.
  • Transport persons served to and from appointments, outings or other events/activities. Assist ambulatory passengers as needed. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, interior and exterior.

    Job Qualifications

    Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

  • State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must pass in house road test and seatbelt training.
  • Experience

  • Patient care experience in acute care, assisted living or long term care preferred.
  • Additional Work Requirements

  • Ability to work off-shift schedules; evening, weekend and holiday hours required to support resident care requirements.
  • Required to operate organization's vehicle in compliance with organizational, state and federal regulations.
  • State of Michigan Chauffeur's License with good driving record.
