    Sanitation General Laborer – Full Time, 3rd Shift

    Seeking a motivated Sanitation General Laborer to join our team. Responsible for sanitizing work areas in an upbeat production environment.

    WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM; 6-day work week.
  • Starting hourly pay of $18.60, plus shift differential.

    • WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Assists with preparing equipment including set ups, tear downs, and changeovers.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Requests chemicals, supplies, and/or equipment whenever needed through the Supervisor or the Team Leader.
  • Maintains and suggests changes that may increase the life of the sanitation equipment and PPE.
  • Ensures that all sanitation containers are properly labelled.
  • Communicates with Supervisors, Line Leads, and other Operators on quality and production of material.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

    • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.
  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred.

    • SKILLS:

  • Ability to do basic math and use calculators.
  • Ability to use tools and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Previous food manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful.
  • Ability to do heavy lifting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
